Looked at many care homes while helping my mum choose a place. This is the best by far, more like a hotel. Spacious rooms, good home cooked food, and if you don't want the dish of the day they will cook something specially for you. Staff and management do everything possible to make the residents happy and, most important, to identify and meet individual needs.

The best place I have ever seen and been to visit. We looked at quite a few places for my brother to move in to and we found Hawkinge House and as soon as we saw it we knew it was the one for him, up to now everything is spot on and can not think of anything that needs to be improved

We have a Parent at Hawkinge House for 4-1/2 years now. She went there from another care home, Oh what a difference, a lovely light and bright room for her to live in. From the moment she arrived needing 24hrs care, every care was taken to make sure she would be cared for to the highest standards. Local for us to visit as many time as we like. Care Staff and Management are always polite and nothing is too much trouble. A great variety of Social activities for residents who wish to join in. We would recommend this to anybody that needs to have a good quality of care for their loved ones.

Mum has a lovely room at Hawkinge House with wetroom ensuite which allows for privacy. Care is very good, and for the first time in years I can sleep at night knowing she is in safe hands with happy carers who understand her condition. Activities are varied and great and Mum has been encouraged to take part. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly.
