The carers are always very helpful, ready to help in so many ways. Prepared to assist with anything needed, with personal care and any task around the home I cannot manage to do. The two regulars have become good friends, I am always pleased to see them.

Most of the carers are very good but sometimes we are sent new carers together and they get confused with what they have to do, they do not read the folder. Also sometimes they do not take out the dirty bag. This leg bag has been turned off once and the bag was empty as my wife bypassed.

Demir arrived with short notice to cover whilst my dad's regular carers were away. He is kind, gentle and very patient. We'd have liked him to stay longer but he has to return to his regular client.

Lillyfields Live-In Care have provided excellent care for my elderly mother for the last few months, their appointed carer Tracey is kind, caring, reliable and attentive, in not the easiest of circumstances for her to manage. We children are all very appreciative. The back office administration is also handled well. I would highly recommend based on our experience.

I called Lillyfields 5pm on a Friday when our original carer went off sick and our previous care agency could not provide cover in time. Lillyfields managed to get a carer to my Mums house by 10pm that night and one of their managers came to the house first thing Monday morning to setup the agreements and do an Assessment. I highly recommend this service to anyone requiring 24 hour support.

This feedback is from the social worker of CW. It has been a very positive experience having live in care support with C. Although C is able to attend to many aspects of her daily routine such as washing and dressing and making tea and a snack there are many aspects of daily living which we often taken for granted but make up many aspects of our day to day living In C's case such as making appointments, using the phone, attending to emergency situations or general situations such as telephone lines going down, not being able to get the internet working, difficulties being able to organise shopping. C does not have local family. Prior to having Live in Care, C would often need help on a daily basis with such aspects which could be at any point in the day. C’s only way to communicate would be through e-mail (as she is deaf) and often she would have difficulties with the computer. Having a live in carer means there is someone available with flexibility to support for C whenever a need arises. This has had a positive impact on substantially reducing levels of stress and overwhelm for C and having someone available to support and attend to needs.

Overall we are happy because we are lucky enough to have two good carers who work out their own shifts and length of stay. The office staff are nice but we never hear from them and never receive any communication. I did have to complain once earlier in the year because a new carer turned up and we had no idea who she was - we had been expecting someone else. To make matters worse I had to go and find her because she was lost - no one brought her to the house. We are not sure when the last spot checks were done as we have not been told.

I am very happy with Lillyfields, I find them very professional and caring. I have used other companies in the past but find Lillyfields the best so far and as for the carer they sent me, well I don't think I could have ever found better!! Love her to bits!!!

I find the process with constant change in carers for the last 8 months difficult and so does my aunt as she is never sure if they will get on or not. When the initial meeting took place care was described as stable and that at most 2 careers would meet my aunt and provide her care, this has not been the case and there have been times when I have tried to call and discuss, and my calls have been ignored. When you do get hold of Simon he appears to listen and does act but it has been painful over the previous months. The care seems to have now settled a little but I am still concerned that the carers themselves pop in and out of work with the agency which concerns me for the overall welfare of the people they care for. My aunt is very with it, but if this was not the case I would worry she is actually getting the care she would want as we are not local and nor is her family so this could be a concern in the future.

Lillyfields Live-in Care found us Mum a carer to Live in the house with her providing 24 hours care support. As a family we are very happy with the service from Lillyfields and from the carer living with mum.

The Lillyfields system in the past 15 months has worked extremely well, this being the time that my wife has received care from Lillyfields.

But have encountered care times changed without notification, carers who do not seem adequately trained to perform certain tasks. The need is for 2 carers but sometimes one carer is content to let other carer complete most of the tasks. Sending carers with health issues, ie back problems, to client who requires hoisting or manual handling.
