I could not let this opportunity go by without thanking you and your team for all the wonderful care and love given to my younger sister during her long stay at Woodchurch House. Everyone who cared for her, all the carers, the chefs, the management team etc. have my heartfelt thanks and prayers. My trust in Woodchurch to care for her through thick and thin (the pandemic, her illnesses etc) was never broken or wavered. I know she would want all of you to know, from her heavenly home, how much she appreciated and loved you all.

Once again I would like to give a huge thank you to all the staff that are looking after my uncle. His behaviour has been challenging of late, and that must be difficult for you all, as well as it is for me to read. However, I know each and everyone of you sees through this terrible illness, and sees the uncle I know. You are all so caring and respectful, and have been the one constant during this troubled time. Every resident is so lucky to have such brilliant staff. Take care all, stay safe.

However, I know you will all be treating him with the kindness and respect as always, seeing past the behaviour, as being part of this wicked illness. Please , all of you take care and all stay safe and well.

It was so lovely to read about my uncle today, having a laugh with a member of staff (Tiffaney). Joking with her and singing the Chelsea football anthem. All the staff have been outstanding during these difficult times, and it was so lovely to read and remember the uncle I remember. Keep safe everyone.

Not only did the staff organise his favourite lunch, but a fantastic cake with candles for him to blow out. The video that was sent to me by the kind and caring staff was fantastic, and made me feel part of the day even though I couldnt be there. Thank you Joanne, Tiff and the chef who made my uncles day. Keep safe everyone.

I would like to thank the following staff for their care, kindness and respect given to my uncle who had a fall recently. Without their care I am sure his recovery would have taken longer. The residents are extremely lucky to have the following staff spend quality time with them. They are: Monish, Chelsi, Kellie, Tiffeny, Alice ,Pheobe and Joanne. Well done all of you.

Over the past few months I have seen how brilliant the following staff have been not only towards my uncle, but to other residents and visitors, they show everyone such care, kindness and respect, always with a smile, always giving their time to those that need it. Thank you to all the staff who made my uncles birthday so special. From decorating his room, then Jo taking him out for his favourite fish and chip lunch with cake. Thanks must also go to Tiffeney, Kellie,Monish and all the rest of the staff who sang to him when presenting his cake with candles. It was very emotional and all afternoon my uncle said what a lovely day he's had. Jo and Monish also took photos and videos for us to treasure. You are all stars, I can't thank you all enough.

I read my Uncle's daily report every day, and it was so lovely to read a comment from Amy Brockman who spent time talking to him and said he was a lovely man. That is the Uncle I know.

I would like to say how caring two particular staff have been to my uncle and visitors over the last couple of weeks. The staff members are Kellie who helped my uncle have a bath which he said was very relaxing. The other person is Lorand who was very kind and caring towards my uncle and others one other resident also said how kind and hard working he is. He also makes sure visitors are welcomed too.

I would like to put in writing huge thanks to Tiffany for being so caring and showing my Uncle such kindness. Even a small thing like a bath is something he really enjoys, and shows how caring you are, as cleanliness is so important to my Uncle.

Today Monish, the senior nurse member upstairs rang me to tell me my uncle had a fall twenty minutes earlier. He had checked him over, there were no injuries, and he was settled in he lounge with his friend. He rang me 20 minutes later. How caring and efficient is that! I know I have written before about how caring and respectful to my uncle Monish is, but credit where it's due. He really is one in a million.

I would like to thank firstly Monish for arranging the Gp to visit my uncle who felt unsteady on his feet, he was checked immediately by Monish before the go visit. Secondly, I would like to thank Joanne for taking my Nile out for a meal the other day. What meant the most was her comment on how the laughed the whole time. Now that's the uncle I know. Thank you again you two for being so kind and caring.

To my shame it's taken me six months to give this review, but it is no less heartfelt. My father's time at Woodchurch was all too short. I just wish we'd got him there sooner as the care and level of comfort was absolutely fantastic. My Dad was so relieved to be in a place where they were able to give him the care that he so desperately needed. All the staff we encountered were lovely. It is a bright, airy and spacious environment - I hope a place like that is around for me when the time comes! Posted by a very grateful daughter.
