Thank you to Barry, Nikki, Carolyn and all the team, you have been amazing. My journey to having a lovely smile took a year but it was so worth it. I was kept informed the whole time, Barrie made sure I was happy every step of the way, everyone was so helpful, attentive and caring. I had implants and all on 4 bridge, the treatment was quite invasive at times but not once did I experience any pain during each procedure or after the anaesthetic had worn off, maybe an aching mouth but not painful. I cannot recommend Barry and the team enough, excellent care and treatment.

A friend recommended Holmes Dental to me as I wanted Invisalign for my wedding. I am really pleased I chose Barry and his practice to carry out my treatment. The whole team has been professional from start to finish and nothing has been too much trouble for them. Barry is very skilled and I am extremely happy with the results. I needed 1 tooth extracted and then moved on to implants, bone graft. TBH I am terrified of dentists, bad childhood memories. However everything was explained thoroughly, Barry was extremely kind, professional a perfect dentist with great technical knowledge. Apart from one very minor discomfort having the injection, which was a nano second, I did not have any pain at all. Even after the injection wore off I can happily report no pain just a slight swelling. The clinical is calming and cool. The staff I came into contact with were wonderful, looking forward to a new brighter smile, thanks guys.

Barry and his team were professional throughout my Invisalign journey, for the 18 months that I was a patient. Personable and friendly, the entire team were always welcoming and the reception team were always accommodating and flexible with appointments around my working life. I originally went to get my teeth whitened. I was very pleased with the results and the professionalism of the clinic. It’s exceptionally high tech - too. As a software developer I should know. I subsequently had a tooth filled then removed and replaced. A first time for me. I was really concerned about the whole procedure. However after it was done I wondered what I’d worried about. The replacement tooth was really millimetre perfect. My view was that it’s an investment in myself and my future and I couldn’t risk it going wrong elsewhere. For peace of mind, professionalism, communication every step of the way, I would not hesitate to recommend Holmes Dental Surgery. As Steve Jobs said: In life, sometimes you do get what you pay for.

I had a tooth that needed extracting, but my NHS dentist was unable to offer a replacement. I did not want a gap, so asked to be referred to Holmes Dental Care for advice . Barry explained some options and I chose to have an implant. He explained it would be a complex extraction and may require a bone graft - I felt completely happy with my treatment plan as it had been thoroughly explained to me. My treatment required several clinical interventions, and I felt completely supported by Barry and his team, the entire time. I have now had my implant and am absolutely delighted with it. In fact, I have joined the practice and look forward to continuing to receive the expert care they offer

I’m halfway through my treatment plan and everything is going smoothly, there have been no issues no delays, appointments are agreed to suit your work commitments, I have had two implant posts inserted on the left and right bottom jaw and everything healed well the only discomfort was in the first couple of days which was managed with paracetamol, looking back now it’s a distant memory. I wouldn’t hesitate to have more if needed I would be straight to Barry and his team. I’m now on my teeth straightening with Invisalign, 4 weeks into a 14-week program, it does take a few weeks to get used to the gum shields but I can feel the difference after 4 weeks, obviously, I won’t know the outcome until the end of my treatment but I have no doubt it will be perfect.

This was my first appointment, but I was made to feel comfortable and welcome. The waiting area is especially good if you're nervous of going to the dentist because it felt more like a lounge than a clinical waiting area. I trusted the staff and the greeting by reception was really nice too

Had a brilliant experience with the Teams at Holmes Dental Care. They were incredibly attentive, helpful and kept me up to date and informed throughout the entire process, a process that meant bone graft, bridge, tooth implant and everything in between. Well what can I say this team are bloody brilliant not only are they good fun but they seem to know exactly what they are doing, from the moment I attempted to eat a bidet to the moment I became a male model with women flocking after me in their droves 😁🥸😎 maybe a slight expansion of the truth there but it is cracking not having to smirk instead of a good old laugh. Since moving to Whitchurch I had to find myself a new dental practise, a friend of mine in the area recommended me to Holmes dental care. And what a little gem the practice is, not only is it 10 min walk from my home, it’s been by far the best dentist I’ve been too . Dc Barry Holmes is very professional and knowledgeable man in his field giving me the best advice and outcome, and also very gentle when it comes to needles, something a few dentist in the past haven’t been!
