Excellent. I wasn't a patient at Shelley & Pope, I am now. I needed an emergency filling & also a practice with no stairs to contend with as I'm on crutches, when I phoned the receptionist who was extremely helpful & very friendly managed to get an emergency appointment for me to my relief Greg & his nurse were excellent & very chilled which put me at ease & I can't thank them enough. I can highly recommend Shelley & Pope a huge thank you to all the staff.

Had work done today for an implant. Was a bit worried as it was a 2 hour appointment, but everything went really well with no hitches. Even the injections to numb the gums were practically painless.

My dentist for the last nearly 40 years at another practice recently retired. I had been referred to Simon Pope at Shelley & Pope, Denton in the Spring of 2023 for infected root canal treatment. I needed several appointments during which Simon dealt with the infection & saved the tooth. The care & attention I received from Simon & his dental technician, Gemma was excellent! The dental receptionists are welcoming & helpful. The practice is clean & spacious & there is an atmosphere of calm professionalism. Simon accepted me as a new patient when my long time dentist retired. I had my check-up on 1st October 2024 & I was looking forward to seeing Simon again. I had no nerves, I felt completely relaxed & comfortable due to the positive experience with the root canal referral. Thank you so much Simon & Gemma!

My partner and I had great appointments again. Very thorough scale and polish. Owing to a mistake in communication between me and my partner regarding appointment times, we arrived 5 mins late, but I did ring the surgery to explain en route. Despite arriving 5 minutes late (our mistake), the hygienist carried out both of our scale and polishes which we were very grateful for. However, this is the excellent service we receive whenever we come for our appointments.

I want to say I'm really sad for leaving, times have changed. I would recommend the dentist and the people that work there, you couldn't ask for nicer people. If I return to the north west I will pop in and see you all, you will be sadly missed, farwell to you all, fantastic people.

I was given an appointment at short notice which I was very grateful for. The service from the dentist was excellent, especially given it was at short notice, and with a dentist that I had not previously been treated by. It was a very tricky procedure that was handled brilliantly and patiently. Overall I was very pleased with the outcome and the costs.

Every step of the way I was informed what was happening and what to expect and a discussion to what further treatment was required.
